Complete eye exams include Retinal Photography as well as enhanced retinal imaging (Optos Scans), allowing for the most thorough, comprehensive examination possible.
During the exam, dilatation drops may be administered, which will compromise your near vision for 2-4 hours. Please bring your prescription glasses, a pair of sunglasses, and a list of any medications you take. The exam usually takes ~45 mins. The time slots for online booking may appear to be shorter but they will block the appropriate time needed.
Patients 19 years of age and younger, and patients 65 years and older are covered once every 12 months for a basic eye exam. There is a charge of $95-$120 for Retinal Imaging and Optos Scans.
